In order to create a coherent definition of the various combat skill levels, largely for use within ranking but also just for general knowledge (what can I say, I'm a scientist), I need some help gathering information.
Basically, I need people to test out their relative successes against a broad variety of situations using all the styles at their disposal, and categorize those styles. Then post your results on this thread.
Current Known Styles:
Rotations
Basic Stunning
Combos
Anti-Combos
Reactive (built around defending yourself)
Adaptive (built around modifying your strategies to best overcome the opponent's; like reactive, but more powerful and with offensive elements)
Instinctive (developing a strong instinct for offensive combat)
Grandmaster (full mastery of both Adaptive and Instinctive)
Current tiers (based on effort to achieve):
Rotations
Basic Stunning
Combos
Anti-Combos
Reactive
Instinctive + Adaptive
Grandmaster
Current tiers (based on success in combat, this is my testing):
